My Story

My career story began in the classroom. I started my career as an educator, where I developed an understanding of how to create learning experiences that fundamentally increase a learner’s retention and motivation. That foundation led me to work in large corporations such as the Walt Disney Company and also scrappy ed tech start-ups, where I expanded my portfolio by designing academic programs as well as technical courses for adult learners. Over time, I moved into video-based learning at LinkedIn, managing teams and building trainings that support professionals at every stage of their careers.

How I Think, What I Build, and What I Bring

  • I’m skilled at developing trainings to help customers successfully use a product, solve problems, and achieve their goals. This work includes:

    • Defining clear learning objectives (what someone should be able to do aligned to Bloom’s taxonomy)

    • Sequencing content either at a program or course level in a logical progression from foundational to advanced

    • Writing assessments aligned to certifications

    • Choosing the right formats (videos, blended, practice, social, reflection)

    • Aligning everything to a specific business outcome (performance, adoption, capability)

    • Building out the instructional content

  • With 10 years experience working in live action studios, I can produce screencast and/or live action production to create trainings that shows—not just tells—how to use a product. Each recording is intentionally designed around a specific job-to-be-done, with tight scripting, clean visuals, and focused narration that highlights exactly what matters.

  • I’ve consistently improved course production by building repeatable systems that reduce friction and increase quality, shifting teams away from ad hoc workflows toward scalable, structured processes. I’ve designed frameworks, templates, and feedback loops.

  • I’ve led complex, multi-stakeholder projects by creating clear plans, aligning priorities early, and maintaining strong communication across teams to keep work moving forward. I focus on bringing structure to ambiguity, setting realistic timelines, and proactively getting ahead of potential problems before they impact the team. As a result, I’ve consistently delivered high-quality projects on time.

The trainings I’ve designed and developed go beyond feature walkthroughs. They are built to support real workflows, real decisions, and real outcomes. I’ve worked cross-departmentally with subject matter experts, product, marketing, editors, graphics, and publishing teams to translate complex functionality into practical, clear steps. Each training is grounded in how users actually use a product, with a focus on accelerating time-to-value.

Deliverables have included:

  • End-to-end product onboarding courses

  • Role-based learning paths

  • Scenario-based training and simulations

  • Screencast tutorials and guided walkthroughs

  • Certification and assessment design
